My learning Goals for Term 3

What?

I have been identifying my literacy goals for the start of term 3
My reading teacher is Mr Rule
My writing teacher is Mr Rule

So What?

My handwriting goal is to flick letters correctly

My spelling goal is to complete list Spelling list 7

My writing goal is to describe a moment in time.

My reading goal is to use several pieces of information to make inferences (on information not directly in text).

My blog goals are  to  add more detail to my blog posts
                            to proofread and edit my blog post before publishing
                            to use a variety of ways to show my learning (text, photos/images, video)
                            to complete all the set blogs for this term
                            to do a ‘Can Do’ blog about an achievement, some other learning or something I am proud of is questioning

Integrated Learning Presentation



I have presented my narrative using movie making.

I worked with Hugo.

My narrative showed empathy by the FBI helped doc.

The thing I enjoyed most about this learning was getting to manage our self out side.

Something I learnt about Myths and Legends was that it is a made up story of ways things could get there.

in math i am learning how to complete a stasacical invesingation

i haved learned that the steps in statistical inguiry model are pose a quistion /plan invesagation/gather the data /anlyse the data/from conclusion

somthink i have learnd from gathering the data is how to make a goggle form

art


WHAT?

For art attack my goal was to produce a piece of art related to our local landscape using either paint, water colour or pastel.
With Mrs Marsh I leaned about foreground, mid ground and background in landscapes.
With Mr Forman I learn ed about colour and complementary colours.
With Mr Rule I looked at the different landscape features of Canterbury and Banks Peninsula.

SO WHAT?

  • Mr Rule teach ed us background and foreground. Mr Forman Teach ed us colour.
  • I added a Bach,sea,grass,sky,clouds.
  • I used paint doing dry brushing.
  • I enjoyed learning about how colours create.
  • I was proud of my finished product.
  • I found Dry brushing very easy but choosing colour for each think I added.

NOW WHAT?

  • I would like to try water colour if I did another landscape because I think it will look cooler.
  • I would like to get better at showing foreground, mid ground and background

recipcal reading

what? Im am learning about reciprocal reading.

So what? I have learned that reciprocal reading involves students being leaders everyone is expected to contribute.

Now what ?Two areas I want to get better at are math and reading.

what?  We are learning to crate raps and present them.



So what?    I have learnt that in raps you have to rhyme words.


now what?   My next step is to make longer raps.




multicultural week

what is the learning goal? is to pick up lollies with my chopstick.

what did i learn to do? use chop sticks to pick up lollies.

what skills did i use? my cutting skills for the Chinese paper art.

what is my next step in my learning .

dance

WHAT?
IHBL: a hip routine
         a cha cha routine
         to combine different movements in to a dance routine to Treasure by Bruno Mars
         to combine different cha cha moves into a dance routine to can’t stop the feeling by justin

My favourite dance was hip hop by bruno mars.


Now what?

I would like to learn break dancing

on friday night I think the performance was good. But a lot of people was very nervous and that made the techniques not 100%
